Despite the strong anthropic disturbance, urban wetlands are real strongholds of biodiversity between asphalt and city buildings. The river stretch of the Tiber, in the heart of the capital, is no exception, constituting the ideal habitat for wildlife.

Along the river, through an annular path that from the Tiber Island reaches the Lungotevere delle Navi, accompanied by an ornithologist, we will learn about the many species of birds that, along the year, use this environment as a nesting and wintering site or a stop-over site during migrations.

If the main focus is on birdwatching, there will be opportunities to discover the plants and other animals that find refuge among the urban banks of the waterway.
